Return & exchange
1. Right to Withdraw from a Distance Contract (Civil Code 6.22810–6.22811)
- Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 calendar days from the day of receiving the product without providing any reason.
- Withdrawal must be communicated via email: melvi.info@gmail.com (free-form message or by filling out the template form provided with the order confirmation). Once we receive your notification, we will confirm its receipt.
- The consumer must return or send the product to the seller within 14 days of notifying the withdrawal.
- The return shipping costs are covered by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed.
- Upon receiving the returned product or proof of shipment, the seller will refund all amounts paid, including original shipping costs, within 14 days.
- Refunds are made using the same payment method used by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed.
2. Conditions for Returning Products in Good Condition
- Products can only be returned if they are unworn, undamaged, and retain their original appearance.
- It is allowed to try on the product, but not to wear it.
- The product must include all original labels and accessories.
- Returning in the original packaging is not required, but we recommend packaging the item properly to prevent damage during transit.
- If the value of the product has decreased due to the buyer's actions (e.g., makeup stains, tearing due to improper use), the refunded amount may be reduced proportionally.
3. Products of Unsatisfactory Quality (Statutory Warranty)
- All products come with a 2-year statutory warranty.
- Any defects must be reported within 3 months from their discovery.
- If a defect existed at the time of product delivery, the seller will, at their expense:
- Repair the product, or
- Replace it with a new one, or
- Refund the payment.
- Return shipping costs for defective products are covered by the seller.
- Contract termination cannot be requested for minor defects. The burden of proof that the defect is minor lies with the seller.
4. Product Exchanges (Optional)
- We offer the possibility to exchange a product for a different size or color, if such a product is available in stock.
- To exchange a product, contact us via email: melvi.info@gmail.com.
- Shipping costs for exchanges are covered by the buyer when returning the product, and by the seller when sending a new product.
- If an appropriate product is not available for exchange, the buyer will receive a full refund.
5. Return Procedure
- To return or exchange a product, contact us first via email: melvi.info@gmail.com.
- We will provide the return address and detailed instructions.
- Refunds are issued within 14 days from receiving the product or proof of shipment.
6. Delicate Fabrics
- Some MELVÌ products are made from delicate, thin, sometimes transparent or stretchy fabrics.
- These fabrics require gentle care: hand wash or delicate washing program, do not use a dryer, avoid overstretching while wearing.
- By purchasing a product, you confirm that you understand and agree to follow the care instructions provided in the product description.
